Sneakers to fall in love with now – chic and comfy

I used to only wear sneakers to the gym. As a matter of fact, I never even wore flats till about 3 years ago. I was a heels and wedges kind of girl. Of late however, I’ve loved finding fashionable sneakers that speak to me as much as my heels do. My daughter, on the other hand, has always loved wearing sneakers. Although for her she prefers to emphasize the ‘ATH’ in athleisure first whereas I look first for what’s haute about the sneaker!

Last week, my daughter went apartment hunting in Minneapolis. She went for the casual chic look and slides to visit the 25 apartments she had on her spreadsheet. Yes, a spread sheet and yes 25, but I digress. So, she took cute slides. I was soooooooooooooooooo amused when after half a day she had to purchase fashionable sneakers, so she could be comfortable and cute. She lamented, “Mommaaaaaaa, I took an “L”!! Why didn’t I borrow one of your million kicks!”

So, I’m sharing with you my most recent haute sneaker purchase my Puma Basket Heart and other favorites on my list. If you’re looking for gym sneakers this post is not for you. Ha!
