T.J.Maxx Runway Adds Affordable Glamour to Your Wardrobe

I can still remember my first trip and purchase from a T.J.Maxx Runway store. It was 2009 and I needed a dress for a gala. That seems like so many moons and sizes ago! I was a size 2 then and I’m a 6 now! I had looked everywhere for the perfect dress that flattered my slender frame and slim wallet. T.J.Maxx Runway served it up in a purple designer dress for just $80!!! I fell in love with that dress and later passed it on to a friend’s daughter to wear to a ball.

I’ve shared with you before that as a single Mom with limited funds I’d take my daughter shopping on Saturdays. We would both have $20 to spend on whatever we wanted and T.J.Maxx was perfect for this. Thankfully the principles I taught her then of shopping smart are still intact. Recently when a friend suggested she go ahead and splurge now that she could afford to she said, “my mom did not raise me that way!”  Well alright then little girl! So, to update her wardrobe from college student to career woman we headed to T.J.Maxx Runway. A few years ago there were only two runway stores here in the Dallas area now there are six T.J.Maxx Runway locations in the DFW metroplex! And yes we went to all of them on our “closet update” mission. (HA!) Even in shopping I have that FOMO (fear of missing out) – especially on a good deal. At first, I was content to just help my daughter pick out her outfits until I ran into the most perfect wide leg pants at our second stop and it was just $30!!! I will be wearing it during NYFW! So, do go to more than one store or even shop T.J.Maxx Runway online as you are sure to find gems. You can search by size, color and price!

I go to T.J.Maxx multiple times a week. (Hangs head in pretend shame – LOL!) They are by far our go to store for all things fashion, beauty and home goods too if we were to be completely honest. I start my shopping there. Now with more Runway locations popping up and the opportunity to get high end designer clothes for less I have even more reason to shop more often. You can imagine my excitement too when I heard that there will be a special event at Runway stores nationwide on Thursday, September 6th. The doors open at 8am. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection of items!
