No time for fashionably late

Sitting waiting for the train this week reminded me that God’s never ever fashionably late. Sometimes however, the wait is the hardest part of the journey. I’m so thankful though for the promise that “they that wait on the Lord, shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not  faint.” Isaiah 40:31. For the life of me I couldn’t think of what to write for this blog — until I decided to go with the truth.

It’s been a hard week. Job hunting is stressful and it’s a job all by itself. The train’s not always on time. If something happens on one track it throws off the entire schedule. I’m beyond thankful though that with God it’s not that way. There’s no late or even fashoinably late with him. He is an always on time God. No matter what it looks like. No matter what’s happening. His “train” is always on time. That’s enough to give you peace  during the wait.
