Albion Fit Swimsuit
Every summer we add two or three maybe four (but who’s counting) swimsuits to our collection. Invariably we turn to Albion Fit for our swimsuit purchases. I remember my very first Albion swimsuit I wore to my cousin’s beach wedding on the island of Mayreau, one of the tiny Grenadine islands that make up St Vincent and the Grenadines. I was in love with it — and still am — and could not wait to wear it! It worked perfectly for a dip in the sea after the ceremony while still serving as a top for the sail back to St. Vincent.
The Styles
The styles and prints of the Albion Collection are always so fun and unique. Most of their swimsuit tops can easily be paired with jeans or a cute skirt and no one would be the wiser. I remember one of the wedding guests said I wore my resort wear to the beach. My heart said yesssss honey, because I’m extra and I like it! She may have been throwing a dig but little did she know that I took that as a compliment!
It’s easy to mix and match different bottoms and tops across their collections as well since they go together so seamlessly. What’s really great about their swimsuits however is the fit and quality. The material is very durable so it will be a swimsuit that you can have for years. In addition to that I am a big fan of their modest yet stylish cut. They flatter any shape.
This year my daughter got the tube top ribbed bikini any raved at how light it felt and the fact that it never moved while she was swimming. That’s winning! She wears it as a strapless bra too.
Their Story
My favorite thing about Albion however is their story which started as a “fun side project” that her Dad bought for her Mom. I love how they fought through sickness, disappointments and market changes to succeed.
