The story of Elizabeth Gillett
Elizabeth Gillett creates the most beautiful watercolor print scarves and kimonos. The patterns are so unique and delicate. Each piece tells its own tale. Looking at the pictures of my kimono fluttering in the wind I couldn’t help but think of Elizabeth’s story. As it attempted to take off on its own path I thought of the eight-year-old little girl one her path — riding her bike to fulfill orders.
The beginning
As a young girl Elizabeth had an entrepreneurial inclination. She started with handmade macramé bracelets and quickly progressed to what she describes as “the ultimate accessory” – scarves. I was drawn to Elizabeth’s designs from the moment I happened on her Instagram page. More importantly however, her story inspires me. She had a dream and carefully carved a path to the successful Elizabeth Gillett brand.
Now, you have an opportunity to enjoy her designs!
For our one-year blog anniversary all this month we’ll have giveaways of our favorite things. As such, YOU have an opportunity to win two beautiful kimonos from the Elizabeth Gillett collection for you AND your galentine!
