My blue leopard print shoe

We recently celebrated the Style Collective Podcast Launch — Becoming Fearless.  Fearless for me is not the absence of fear but the presence of courage.  The becoming is in the pushing as it’s an intentional action to push beyond inhibitions, insecurities and self doubt to seize the moment. It’s about having the courage to pick up the phone and make the call, ask for what you want, and pursue your most far fetch dreams with the laser focus of a leopard after its prey.

I met some of my style collective sisters for the first time as we banded together on our journey to becoming fearless. I had been planning my outfit for days. Yes days. Don’t judge me I was meeting a room full of stylists! Interestingly enough the outfit that I chose was still laying on my bed when I walked out the door. I wanted to feel my most confident and fearless self so I opted instead for something from the back of my closet. I donned my very old Cynthia Rowley skirt, a Michael Kors top and my equally old Gianni Binni blue leopard print shoes.  [I shared some shopping options for you] Truthfully the outfit started with the shoes. The leopard is one of the five big cats isn’t it? I was ready to roar!
