Mini skirts are one of my favorite fall fashion items (I feel like I say that about everything ha)! I love how versatile they are because they can dress up even the most basic hoodie. You might be a little hesitant to try a skirt below 60 degrees, but that’s nothing a pair of tights and knee boots can’t fix!
Here are some of my go-to mini skirt outfits for inspirations:
Skirt & Athleisure Hoodie:
This outfit is the PERFECT mix of casual athleisure and fashion. The athleisure version would be pairing a hoodie with a tennis skirt, leggings, or shorts, but the mini skirt instantly elevates the outfit. Below, I decided to wear knee-high boots for a casual, BUT CUTE, night out and tucked in the hoodie underneath my bra. I typically would wear sneakers instead of boots if I’m running errands or don’t feel like being too dressy.

Skirt & Statement Jacket:
Lately, I’ve been loving all things frills and fringe, which is probably because “western” fashion is currently “trendy”. I used quotes because I’m a southern girl, so western wear never really falls in and out of style. Secondly, I loveee the movement of fringe not to mention the fact that it’s an automatic eye-catcher (good or bad haha). I chose a cropped jacket to not take away focus from the classic black a-line mini skirt, especially since I have a short torso too. Nonetheless, you can always pair the skirt with an oversized blazer or staple leather jacket.

Colorful Skirt & Matching Blazer:
Lastly, I added a pop of color (everywhere) with a matching kelly green mini skirt suit set, but I toned it down with black basics and accessories. If the green is too much, then you can get rid of the matching jacket and incorporate a neutral-colored blouse or sweater.
