How flutter sleeves and butterflies connect

Flutter Sleeves

Flutter sleeves have been quite popular this season. Truthfully statement sleeves in general.  So when I found this gorgeous white top at White House Black Market that highlighted flutter sleeves,  showed off my shoulders  and it was on sale I had to have it. Am I the only one who gets happy when they score a great outfit at a great price? Tell me I’m not! Ha!

Ryan Pants

Needless to say I  paired my flutter sleeves top with this absolutely gorgeous yellow print Ryan pants from Banana Republic. If you’ve been following me you’d know that I have a thing for Banana Republic Sloan pants.  Well the Ryan’s are the same fit just longer.  I’m a size 6 usually so when I saw them and they were a four I was heartbroken. I decided that I’d at least try them. Welllllllllllllllllllll they fit! High five your neighbor and say they fit! ( I just got ‘churchy’ LOL!)

Butterflies

Since we’re talking about being ‘churchy’, when I looked at my picture with my flutter sleeves all I could think of was a butterfly. I was actually singing in the picture with my head reared back and not really posing at all. It captured perfectly how happy I was at that exact moment. It reminded though that we need to seize every moment  and be happy in whatever state we’re in because “just when the caterpillar thought life was over it became a butterfly.”  God creates a beautiful butterfly from a caterpillar and a hard cocoon. Precious diamonds too emerge out of very high temperatures and pressure.   We should never  let the darkness and pressures of our now clip your wings or stifle our joy. Today and everyday remember the caterpillar!!!
