We are smack dab in the heart of boots season ya’ll! Even in Texas, we’ve had cold fronts swoop in insisting that we pull out the boots. Or yes, you guessed right shop for some; as it’s hard for a girl to resist adding a new color or fun shape! Its hard when you are a shoes addict! Shopping for boots, however, is a worth while investment as you will get a lot of wear out of them fall after fall.

Here are seven must have boots for this fall and winter season!

Haute on the Neutral

Neutral boots are definitely a hot haute commodity this season and a must have in your closet. They bring such freshness to an outfit whether wear with a fun orange mini or you go monochromatic! These Chloe boots caused quite a stir when I first debut on our Tik Tok! And yes, if you’re not following us on Tik Tok yet please do so, but I digress. I had to have them the moment I saw them, the cement color is so edgy. Though they are actually rain boots I’ll be wearing them rain or shine!

The Lug Edge

Another hot trend this fall is the lug boot. The chunkier the better! They add the perfect edge to any outfit! The beauty of these is that you can pair them with everything in your wardrobe — even your sweats! I’m actually inclined to believe that their popularity is hinged on how quickly they turn sweats to European chic! Added to that they are comfortable. One thing we’ve learned from 2020 is that comfort is key!

Reign Rain

Ya’ll I’ve never worn rain boots more than I have this fall, even when it’s not raining! It seems like there are so many cute pairs to choose from this season too! Paired with a shacket or dress they make quite a chic statement. The key to rocking rain boots this fall is to grab some in a fun color! This olive pair is currently on rotation.

Brown Knows

Brown knows that she is the go to girl right now! Gone are the days where black would be the go to shoe color. All shades of brown take center stage this fall like this rich cognac pair. And who remembers the myth that brown and black don’t go together? Now THAT is fake news! The lug soles on these boots make them extra special too. Chic and comfortable for the win.

Knee high boots will forever be in style! This season bright colors and interesting patterns give this fall staple a fresh take. Orange is in this fall and this burnt orange pair is perfect with anything — faux leather culottes or a your pleated dress!

Combat boots may very well be my favorite boots! They are an easy way to add some edge to an outfit. It seems like I add a new pair every year. I love to find the gems with unique materials or embellishments. These Converse Combat boots are show stoppers! I get so much compliments every time I wear them. You can wear with wide leg jeans or a mini skirt! Or add funk to a feminine dress!

Cowboy up!

Cowboy boots are always a do especially in Texas! They are having their own moment in the limelight right now. I am a fan of the updated shapes and fab colors and prints. I love pairing mine with unexpected girly dresses and this snake print is a winner. I’m a sucker for blue cowboy boots too and I have to keep reminding myself that I already own a pair!
